February 28th, 2014. Day 365. It's the culmination of a whole year's pursuit. I've imagined this day, hoped in many different directions - my 365th photo could capture an adventure ... a purposeful seeking out of a place, an experience, an achievement? Perhaps it could capture something emotionally meaningful ... a person, a relationship, affection, healing? Whatever the idea, I've always imagined me waking today feeling excited and purposeful. Life, it seems, doesn't always correspond with these special events though, does it? I awoke this morning immediately worried - rabbit caught in the headlights - as soon as I remembered what day it was. Because today I feel lost at sea. Not waving but drowning.
In the midst of a dreary, drizzly, foot-aching day, one splash of colour kept catching my attention: my yellow gerberras. So, I bought some more - red, pink and orange - and started snapping away, here enjoying the sense of entwined interweaving with a bottom right-hand-corner splash of red gerberra petal.

Day 358
I'm very aware that it's just one week to go until the end of 365 - yikes! Spending some time looking through this photo ideas book, thinking through what to do next ...

Day 357
My assessor came again today ... the final 6 sections and an IT exam complete - hopefully I'll see her just once more and then I'm done!

Day 356
I started (and fell in love with) Natasha Solomon's The Gallery of Vanished Husbands. The following captured me and prompted me to acquire some yellow flowers (it being the wrong time of year for sunflowers):
"The last time she had visited The National Gallery, she'd been caught by a sunflower and misplaced the rest of the afternoon. She'd watched the canvas until the yellow paint began to vibrate and tremble in waves like liquid sunshine, falling out of the frame and spilling onto the gallery floor. On the way home she'd bought sunflowers and sat with Frieda at the kitchen table for nearly an hour watching them in their glass vase to see if all yellow shook if only you watched for long enough."

Day 355
My foot is really hurting today; had a little cry about it at work. So, here I am - curled up in bed, foot on a cushion, reaching for my book...

Day 350
In part due to my bad foot, I've managed to read quite a lot the last few days. I've nearly finished The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared - so so funny!

Day 349
The now more richly hued beads are strung up and ready to be practical and a little more aesthetically pleasing.

Day 347
There was a slight foot incident yesterday which started hurting quite a lot today, hence my visit to Minor Injuries. (It may hurt, but is very minor so nothing to worry about!)

Walking to church tonight, I noticed the street light reflecting in this puddle. Thought I'd try and capture it...

Day 338
I went for a run about an hour ago ... it was quite cold and very wet! Followed by a brief lie down, legs extended and camera in hand!
