The temperature seems to have plummeted over the last week and I've had my first (and hopefully last) cold of the cooler months. I need warm feet. Hence my new boots! Alas, however, methinks they are a touch too small.

The light activities continue at nursery; here are some fairy lights I've had sealed in a transparent plastic container. I turn the light off, fairy lights on and their little faces light up with wonder!

I went for a welly walk in the woods today; a thing I love to do, but don't do often enough. I found this hollow tree.

One of the little ones at nursery is completely fascinated by lights. He stares at them, points at them, notices as soon as one is turned off, notices if you haven't turned it off... So, I'm just gathering a few light-y things for an activity tomorrow, including this torch.

 Amy's here, hurrah hurrah! (Day 91) We went for a walk this afternoon and found ourselves going down 90 feet inside the Avon Gorge to the Giant's Cave out onto this balcony overlooking the river.
