Day 152
This is my favourite way to peel an orange: place it in just boiled water for a little while and easily peel. Although, if you don't like your orange slightly warm, then it won't work for you!

Day 149
High up in the Brecon Beacons are the Ystradfellte Falls. So, I drove up up up to the car park and then walked down down to get to this waterfall. (Oh, my poor calves!)
Then driving back down down down, I stopped to take some photos of the gorgeous rolling Beacons and found this sheep looking at me, presumably, as I disturbed its snack!
Day 148
These are the ruins of Raglan Castle in south Wales. The ruins seem like such an inviting rabbit warren of hide-and-seek opportunities. Although during my exploration - including very steep steps and high towers - I've really hurt my calves!

Day 146
I was just lying on the floor, easing my aching back, looking at my half-finished sewing project, lamenting the half-finishedness.

Day 145
I thought it was time to update you on what I'm reading. This is my second time through wonderful Wilkie Collins' The Woman in White; the book which paved the way for modern suspense and detective novels. Wonderful, but makes me a bit anxious!

Day 142
Today the Gromit search continued (see Day 128). We found 22 - from the city centre right out to Westonbirt Arboretum, so our total is now at 41 ... 39 to go! Then this evening we walked across the Suspension Bridge (remember that from Day 6?), here it is; different light, different angle. And here it is again, painted onto the side of 'Vincent van Gromit'.

Day 137
I've been practising putting the tent up. Well, I only needed one practice; it's now up in the garden. (I'm not sleeping there, by the way!)

Day 135
After yesterday's entirely fruitless attempt at fabric shopping, today was a lot more successful. The pieces are all prepped and ready for the final stages of stitching together.

Day 132
I snatched a few minutes to walk before work this morning. And I found a Goat Gully - who'd have thought?! And here's part of its fence/gate...

Day 131
Hmm, here's a problem ... an old ignition coil and a new ignition coil, neither of which, you will notice, are in my car's engine. In fact, the bonnet is open and bits and pieces are lying around it. Let's hope it gets sorted; I was hoping to spend this weekend in Wales.

Day 129
Yesterday was such a lovely day. Before the Gromit search, I was at a Knicker Making Workshop ... as you can see! At one point I left the room and peeped into 3 other workshops as I walked down the corridor, heartened to see everyone happily crafting away.

Day 128
Gromit Unleashed has started - 80 different Gromits to find, mostly around Bristol but some a bit further afield. Today we found 19, not a bad start methinks. Here are Golden Gromit's feet - outside the Victoria Rooms, for those of you who know the area...

Day 126
My new book arrived today - hopefully it's the pre-cursor to much adventuring ... Wales is calling to me!

Day 124
Just back from an evening with a friend; we're working our way through the book Captivating and the many tangents it throws our way.

Day 123
Earlier, at the pool, I noticed that my turquoise toenails go quite nicely with the stripe on my swimsuit. Later I tried to get a photo of my feet and swimsuit stripe to show you but it just won't work! So, sitting here, thinking 'Hmmm... now what?' my gaze fell on my exfoliator and Body Butter.
