At 9.30 this morning I arrived in the library for a study day, got out some paper and the first thing that fell on to the page...? Hmm, welcome to my head space! (PS - My day got a lot worse - including a good old lunch time cry - but then improved ... So, happy face!)

Okay, I'm really pleased with this photo. Let me explain ... Since Saturday's photography course, I've resisted switching my camera back to auto so this photo's depth of field (the chairs are in focus, set apart from the blurred background) is something I constructed. They might not be your favourite chairs, but to me they symbolise progress!

Jen and I had some Black Forest Hot Chocolate this afternoon; available only during the festive season but they still had some syrup left, so we could sneak in one last one! Utterly and completely delicious! (Thank you, thank you Helen for letting us in on the secret!)

 What a blustery day - I look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards! Been out walking and eating and walking again. Sorry to post another river picture, but I liked it and I was having lens problems which only stopped about an hour and half ago...
