enjoying our garden

A couple of months ago we moved from our second floor, two bedroom flat to a three-bedroom house with garden. Boy, are we enjoying our garden! Plants and veg patch have been sown, the patio has been chalked, balls have been thrown and bubbles blown. These photos are playing in the garden with my fabulous nephew and the sunflowers I re-potted with my gorgeous son.

Today's post is an ode to my wonderful nephew, the lender of the grabber, the hero of this last pregnancy stage and, without whom, I would be stuck! (After I took this photo, I dropped my lens cap, but there was the grabber - hurrah!)

My dinner guest has just left, having tried on his newborn cousin-to-be's bear suit ... the head comes up to his knees!

Z came over for food this evening; he had put in a little request and when he saw me carrying the above, joyfully declared "corn on the cob!"

Here are some moments from my September...

Spending time with the scrumptious Z; playing with bubbles ...

W and I went walking, celebrating Rosh HaShana; eating apple dipped in honey as a symbol of the sweetness of God's blessing on the year to come.

We topped off the month by marking 3 months of marriage by sharing a fruity breakfast, exploring a Museum of Astronomy and eating lunch at a little place Helen showed me last year.

Z wanted some help to round up the last few Gromits, so we went in search of 5 of their final 8.

We went for a little adventure this afternoon, to seek out a crafty exhibition in south Bristol and afterwards a little walk through Arnos Vale. Lovely.

Z and I went to the theatre today, my birthday gift to him. We watched Rumpelstiltskin and then had a hot chocolate, here he is licking his finger having given his hot chocolate a good stir!
