 Firstly a comment about photography and pregnancy: the positions required for pretty much any good angle are tricky with this bump, if not well nigh impossible! Secondly, let the baby shopping commence! (As in, buying stuff for the baby; we're very happy with whoever is going to make an appearance in March... No selection process necessary!)

I know, it's not a great photo technically but I like it... We had just been to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, then popped into Costa for a hot choc (mine was Black Forest Gateau - mmmm!). Anyway, here's the view from where I sat...

So, I was taking some pics earlier when my battery died. Having put it to charge, I thought I'd try and get a photo when I go and collect Warren after his shift. Leaving a few minutes early, to snap on the way, I get a message to say that a resident has died - don't rush. I took a few on the way out of the building and then in the car... 

I thought this was kinda quirky.

Time to put my feet up ... Wearing my fur-lined Christmas slippers, of course!

I was just running some hot, hot water and noticed rays of sunlight catching the steam as it rose from the sink. It was beautiful, so I grabbed my camera, thinking it was a tricky thing to capture. Which it was! So, here's a simple moment at home washing up, in the middle of a simple day at home. Thankful.

We went for a walk today, drank hot chocolate in Leigh Woods, took some photos ... Here's our hot choc flask once we'd got home - it was chilly today!

Now then I could be positive and say "Yes, I made a beginning to taking a daily walk!! Here going through the gate on my way into Blaise."

But, I'm going to be more balanced and share the ugh factor by explaining that firstly, I was pleased with this photo because the light was difficult this afternoon and I managed to adjust the Exposure Compensation until it looked so much better, And secondly, I messed up the composition by allowing the left arrow to go slightly out of frame. Miffed!
